I saw the Audubon Certification project mentioned in the most recent PFHOA email blast, and I hope many of you who live, as I do, in this wonderful, wildlife-friendly subdivision will be interested in the project and want to share your wildlife stories and photos with us. If you'd like to post to the blog or add to the flickr photo pool, email me (janeblum [at] wrenaissance [dot] com) and I'll give you permission to do so.
Also, if you have ideas for activities related to the certification or to wildlife habitat in our neighborhood in general, I'd love to hear from you as well and will share your ideas with the working group. Any one is welcome to join this group, so don't be shy about volunteering!

Wren-I just want to wish you every good thing with this venture. As a former A2 resident I love to read about this type of project. The poor folk over in my old neck of the woods (A2 Hills) are merely trying to keep from having their golf course wild area sold out from under them into development. The last thing A2 needs is more housing, less wildlife. Good luck- you're the right person to be working on this.

a kiss for you, my dear friend!
